All Laclede chain is dimensionally the same size as their grade 100 chain, so it will connect to your existing chains.
A slip hook is a hook used for lifting applications that has a safety latch. Rather than having an open throat like a grab hook, slip hooks have a safety latch to keep loads secured. To open the safety latch you simply press inward on the latch. The latch only goes one way so you don’t have to worry about chain or rope pressing from the inside and coming out.
