Our premium wire rope assemblies are made with Extra Improved Plow Steel (EIPS) for improved strength and flexibility. Compared to Fiber Core winch cables, Steel Core winch cables are stronger and have a greater working load limit to take on tougher jobs.
Working Load Limits vary by cable size. 3/8“ steel core cable has a WLL of 4,250 lbs. Never exceed the working load limit (WLL).
Each cable comes with a tag that has the working load limit and general specifications clearly printed for your convenience and safety.
Self-Locking Hooks automatically lock when the line is brought under tension. This prevents accidental release of a load. To release the hook, the user must manually unlock it.
Swivel Hooks allow the hook to rotate and keep the wire rope straight without twisting or coiling.
