Self-Locking Sling Hooks are also sometimes known as the “safety style.” They have a trigger opening and when you load the hook, they automatically shut. Once the hook closes, it cannot be opened again until the load is released from the hook. Unlike other types of spring latches which can wear out over time, the more durable self-locking hook will last much longer while keeping loads secure.
